Position: Front Counter Sales Team Member
Type: Part-time / Full-time
Location: Downtown Pensacola, FL
Are you energetic, reliable, and passionate about great food and exceptional hospitality? Chrisoula’s Cheesecake Shoppe is looking for a friendly Front Counter Sales Team Member to welcome our customers, share our love for handcrafted cheesecakes, and deliver top-notch service in a fast-paced retail bakery environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Customer Experience: Warmly greet guests, answer product questions, provide recommendations, and guide customers through custom order inquiries and purchases.
- Point of Sale (POS) & Counter Sales: Ring up retail orders accurately, manage cash and card transactions, and handle custom pre-order check-ins efficiently.
- Product Presentation: Keep display cases full, beautifully arranged, accurately labeled, and spotless throughout the shift.
- Bakery Maintenance: Maintain a squeaky-clean front-of-house area, including counters, glass displays, seating areas, and packaging stations, following all food safety guidelines.
- Order Preparation: Safely handle, package, and present mini cheesecakes, whole cheesecakes, and specialty items with attention to detail and care.
Qualifications & Skills
- Experience: Prior experience in retail, food service, or customer service is a plus (we are happy to train the right personality!).
- Communication: Upbeat, polite, and effective verbal communication skills.
- Detail-Oriented: Ability to handle transactions accurately and follow specific guest requests for special orders.
- Punctual & Reliable: Shows up on time with a positive attitude ready to support team members.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 20 lbs comfortably.
